Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure that ceremonies are focused and lead to clear actions and outcomes.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technology Leads to assist in sprint and delivery planning.

• Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies and actively work towards their resolution.

• Escalate any unresolved delivery issues to the relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate visibility of delivery through Jira and ensure that boards and backlogs are current.

• Monitor sprint progress, delivery metrics, commitments, and improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate retrospectives and assist teams in implementing practical enhancements.

• Foster ownership, collaboration, accountability, and consistent Agile methodologies.

• Coordinate among multiple delivery teams when cross-team dependencies arise.

• Provide regular updates regarding delivery health, risks, challenges, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, PMO, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile technology/product delivery setting.

• Solid understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and software delivery methodologies.

• Practical experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies.

• Proficient knowledge of Jira or comparable project management tools.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary Product and Engineering teams.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to identify delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies early on.

• Organized and adept at tracking actions to completion.

• Pragmatic approach focused on outcomes rather than strictly adhering to processes.

• Scrum or Agile certification is preferred but not a strict requirement.

• Experience in FinTech, financial services, SaaS, or dynamic technology environments.

• Proven experience supporting multiple Agile teams concurrently.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability, and overall delivery health.
