Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct and manage a complex cybersecurity and enterprise security engineering initiative for a prominent Federal Government client.

• Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight of contract performance, personnel, timelines, deliverables, risks, and technical operations.

• Act as the main point of contact between PingWind, project teams, and Government stakeholders.

• Supervise IT and cloud design, security, development, systems engineering, and implementation activities.

• Ensure that contract operations are in alignment with Government priorities, Federal standards, and performance expectations.

• Oversee personnel, timelines, resources, risks, deliverables, and technical execution.

• Facilitate coordination among PingWind, Government stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams.

• Convert customer requirements and priorities into actionable tasks across multidisciplinary teams.

• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and performance metrics.

• Track deliverables for adherence to timelines, quality, and contract compliance.

• Identify, manage, and escalate program risks, challenges, and dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain and sustain the necessary VA background investigation/suitability determination and system access.

• Certification in one or more of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Assurance Technician (IAT) III, Information Assurance Management (IAM) III, or Information Assurance System Architects and Engineering (IASAE) III.

• IAT III/IAM III/IASAE III certifications may replace a relevant Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of pertinent experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Information Security, Information Resource Management, or related disciplines.

• At least 10 years of experience in Information Security.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security at a large Government agency comparable in size/scope to GSA, IRS, DoD, or VA.

• Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity, cloud, or IT programs within Federal Government settings.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams, managing deliverables, schedules, risks, and fulfilling customer requirements.

• Preferred: Experience in VA/Federal program management.

• Preferred: Experience overseeing large cybersecurity programs and managing subcontractor teams.
