Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Create and oversee comprehensive program plans that encompass timelines, milestones, and resource distribution.

• Ensure program alignment with the strategic objectives of the company and the expectations of clients.

• Track and communicate program advancements, risks, and challenges to senior management, as well as to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Administer program budgets to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness.

• Supervise customer vendors to achieve project goals.

• Oversee Appficiency project vendors from the selection process through performance evaluation.

• Confirm that program deliverables are consistent with the scope defined in the statements of work.

• Detect scope deviations and relay potential change requests to clients.

• Serve as the primary contact for clients.

• Establish and nurture relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Hold regular client meetings to assess progress, address issues, and ensure satisfaction.

• Inspire and lead cross-functional project teams.

• Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with other departments to guarantee resource availability and fulfill project requirements.

• Assess vendor needs, identify potential vendors, and manage vendor selection and rate negotiations.

• Incorporate vendor project plans into the overarching program plan.

• Recognize risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and maintain risk response plans.

• Proactively address issues and conflicts.

• Ensure that deliverables comply with quality standards and client specifications.

• Apply best practices in program management while continuously enhancing processes and methodologies.

• Compile and present program reports detailing status, financial data, and outcomes.

• Keep thorough, updated, and accessible program documentation.

• Convey program performance and strategic recommendations to senior management.

• Engage stakeholders to sustain alignment with program objectives and results.

• Analyze stakeholder needs and devise strategies for managing their expectations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in professional services, functional or technical consulting, with a significant emphasis on ERP, CRM, or eCommerce systems.

• Demonstrated success in leading and executing complex SaaS programs across various industries.

• At least 5 years of management experience supervising cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and client stakeholders, across multiple simultaneous projects.

• Strong proficiency with the NetSuite platform.

• Capability to convert business challenges into scalable technological solutions.

• Experience in managing the entire program life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

• Proven history of cultivating and maintaining long-term, profitable client relationships, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and referenceability.

• Expertise in project portfolio management, resource planning, and risk mitigation for large-scale programs.

• Ability to facilitate executive-level communications, including C-suite reporting, business reviews, and roadmap presentations.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.

• Adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth settings with shifting priorities and stakeholder expectations.

• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, system integrations, and third-party application ecosystems.

• PMP, Prince2, or a comparable project/program management certification is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 20–25%, including on-site client engagements and team coordination activities.
