This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +7 more states.
• Take ownership of and deliver in-person program management training cohorts throughout the organization.
• Conduct training sessions for existing Program Managers, ensuring that learning objectives are achieved.
• Create and modify course materials and training content tailored for both novice and seasoned program managers.
• Utilize real-world scenarios and best practices to engage participants and foster meaningful discussions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and assessment data.
• Enhance content to align with participant needs and organizational standards.
• Analyze and report on cohort outcomes and metrics, including completion rates, evaluation results, and business impact.
• Consolidate stakeholder insights and recommendations to showcase cohort effectiveness and promote continuous improvement.
• Partner with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational objectives.
• Oversee travel and logistics for training sessions and on-site events.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of supporting delivery staff.
• Report directly to the CSD Program Management Delivery Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR a Master’s degree with at least 8 years of experience.
• Proven experience in Program Management with expertise in risk management, change management, EVMS, financial acumen, and program baselining.
• Solid experience in delivering and supporting in-person training programs, emphasizing engagement and practical application.
• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, with a talent for conveying complex concepts in a relatable manner.
• Established capacity to operate effectively in dynamic environments while managing multiple projects and travel commitments of up to 50%.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to set direction, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure delivery against commitments.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for all positions requiring government clearance and for certain other restricted roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to cultivate a collaborative training atmosphere.
• Proven adaptability and resourcefulness in tackling diverse training challenges and addressing audience needs.
• Familiarity with cohort-based learning models, adult learning principles, or learning and development initiatives.
• A Master's degree in Business, Management, STEM, or a related field or professional certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
