Program Director, Radiologic Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design the Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program structure.

• Ensure that the didactic content complies with program standards.

• Lead the creation of clinical playbooks that oversee supervision, competency progression, and the quality of rotations.

• Take ownership of program completion rates, graduation metrics, ARRT credentialing exam pass rates, and job placement results.

• Monitor leading indicators and identify strategies for enhancement.

• Act as the main academic liaison for ABHES compliance, including annual reports, substantial change submissions, and readiness for site visits.

• Assist in employer-partner discussions as a clinical subject matter expert.

• Recruit, onboard, observe, and develop didactic faculty, lab instructors, and clinical preceptors.

• Travel to partner locations for feasibility evaluations, lab observations, preceptor training, and accreditation visits.

• Optionally teach the initial cohort either virtually or as an on-site clinical educator.

• Report to the Group GTM Strategy Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in Texas, with dependable access to a major airport and availability for travel.

• Possess current ARRT R.T.(R) certification.

• Hold a current Texas GMRT certificate issued by the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.

• Previous experience as a Program Director for an accredited radiography program.

• Over 5 years of clinical experience in radiography.

• Knowledge of program accreditation and regulatory compliance, including JRCERT and ABHES accreditation requirements and processes.

• Strong proficiency in data and technical literacy, emphasizing leading indicators rather than retrospective, end-of-year metrics.
