This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert consultation, coaching, and education to independent advisory practices on talent-focused practice management subjects.

• Assist advisory firms in evolving their talent strategies to adapt to a digital and AI-driven landscape.

• Coach firm leaders on viewing talent and productivity as strategic investments, including return on talent, workforce planning, capacity, and compensation choices.

• Aid SEI in attracting and onboarding mid-to-large growing advisory firms by showcasing how talent strategies enhance business outcomes.

• Evaluate firms’ talent, leadership, organizational, and cultural strengths, gaps, and readiness.

• Provide actionable and tailored recommendations.

• Create and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions.

• Develop scalable resources, tools, playbooks, frameworks, and educational materials.

• Construct curriculum for the next generation of advisors, operations leads, and firm leaders.

• Lead and expand the SEI Next Gen Community.

• Collaborate with SEI’s People and Culture team on best practices for talent, behavioral assessments, leadership tools, and organizational effectiveness frameworks.

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to connect talent with hiring advisory firms at scale.

• Collaborate with Practice Management Consultants across growth, scale, and transition pillars.

• Build and manage partnerships with external talent experts, consultants, coaches, assessment providers, and service vendors.

• Direct and oversee talent, workforce development, and culture-oriented special projects.

• Contribute articles, webinars, podcasts, and other educational materials as a thought leader.

• Travel up to 20% as per the role description, with the requirements section indicating up to 25%.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience assisting financial advisors and/or professional service firms in growing, scaling, and enhancing their businesses through talent management, human resources, organizational development, coaching, consulting, practice management, or leadership roles.

• Extensive expertise across the entire employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, leadership development, compensation design, succession planning, engagement, and retention.

• Solid understanding of AI, automation, and digital tools that are transforming roles, workflows, and productivity within professional service and advisory firms.

• Capability to measure ROI, align compensation with outcomes, and connect people decisions to enterprise value.

• Hands-on experience in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.

• Profound understanding of the independent advisor and RIA landscape.

• Experience in designing and facilitating leadership development programs, team workshops, and educational experiences.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience with face-to-face interactions, in-person and virtual presentations, live video, recorded video, phone, and email.

• Proven success in team-building, leadership effectiveness, engagement, retention, and cultural outcomes.

• Ability to transform high-level talent strategies into practical, actionable advice and plans.

• Commitment to developing the next generation of advisor and operations talent.

• Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, DISC Certification, ICF Coaching credentials, CFP®, CIMA®, or CEPA® are advantageous but not required.

• Experience in designing educational content, curriculum, playbooks, or decision frameworks.

• Experience assisting firms in adopting AI-enabled tools, redesigning workflows, or establishing digital-first operating models.

• Experience in building and leading peer communities, mentorship programs, or leadership academies.

• Familiarity with compensation benchmarking, career pathing frameworks, productivity metrics, and organizational design.

• Proficiency in analyzing people metrics, productivity data, and organizational performance data.

• Ability to embody SEI Values of courage, integrity, collaboration, inclusion, connection, and fun.

• May be required to complete a questionnaire regarding political contributions under SEC Rule 206(4)-5.
