This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand, +1 more country.
• Assist country programs in crafting high-quality proposals and delivering donor requirements.
• Ensure adherence to donor guidelines, regulations, and IRC systems and procedures.
• Oversee a portfolio of awards for the Asia region, including USG, UN, GAC, World Bank, Australian DFAT, and Gulf donors.
• Review and provide feedback on narrative and financial reports, ensuring they are submitted on time.
• Advise country offices on award modifications, amendments, sub-grants, and partnership agreements.
• Counsel country teams on post-award matters and donor compliance.
• Lead negotiations on award agreements with donors, IRC entities, and partner organizations.
• Guide country offices regarding partnership management and the PEER System.
• Monitor projects through site visits, implementation meetings, and focused calls.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, technical, legal, and other IRC teams.
• Assist in proposal development, ensure quality assurance, conduct compliance reviews, and facilitate post-submission debriefs.
• Maintain comprehensive electronic files and internal tracking systems.
• Manage donor relationships and represent IRC in regional meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Support staff training, onboarding, workflow development, and lessons-learned initiatives.
• Contribute to regional and AMU strategic objectives and undertake other assigned responsibilities.
• A degree in International Relations, Refugee or Migration Studies, Development Studies, Public Policy, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong understanding of USG and UN donor requirements is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with other public donors is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of humanitarian aid and development programming.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a diverse team and manage a complex workload.
• Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing information.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, task prioritization, and a quick learning ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within a multicultural environment.
• Capability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment.
• A flexible work attitude and a composed demeanor.
• International work experience in the Global South is a benefit.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice and to insecure locations.
• Experience in remote work and supporting field-based staff.
• Proficient in writing, reviewing, and editing narrative and financial reports.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Commitment to adhering to IRC Way standards, including safeguarding, conflict of interest, fiscal integrity, and reporting policies.
• Flexibility for remote work.
