This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in managing DOF’s annual Impact Grant, Training Institute, and the developing Deaf Nonprofit Hub.
• Oversee program schedules, resources, logistics, and ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Supervise the grantmaking process, which includes application and award materials, support for the grant review committee, and providing coaching and technical assistance to grantees and deaf organizations.
• Organize bimonthly Training Institute sessions, including presenter selection, preparation of session materials and reports, and necessary accommodations.
• Implement, sustain, and moderate the virtual workspace of the Deaf Nonprofit Hub.
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with grantees, deaf organizations and programs, and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and direction to independent contractors, including the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and onboarding processes.
• Manage program communications and marketing through media relations, social media, email, and DOF’s website.
• Act as an interdepartmental liaison for program and service requirements.
• Advocate for DOF’s mission, vision, values, and organizational culture.
• Represent DOF within the community.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit programs, grant administration, community engagement, program coordination, or similar fields.
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver results for a variety of projects or programs.
• Proficiency in communicating effectively using American Sign Language and written English (REQUIRED).
• Skill in organizing program priorities, ensuring accountability toward program goals, and fostering productive working relationships.
• Strong execution capabilities, including managing competing deadlines and coordinating multiple contributors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences, channels, and accessibility needs.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and following directions.
• Profound understanding of and commitment to deaf communities and DOF’s mission.
• Familiarity with and adherence to company policies, procedures, and values.
• Ability to communicate via phone, videophone, or text messaging.
• Capacity to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Potential for the position to evolve into a part-time, long-term role in the future.

• Position may require occasional travel up to 5%.
