Professional Services Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct live and virtual technical presentations at veterinary practices, local and regional meetings, conferences, and veterinary educational institutions.

• Collaborate with Dechra field teams during customer visits, offering technical knowledge and leading educational initiatives, including lunch-and-learn sessions.

• Aid in the design and delivery of training programs for Sales and other internal departments.

• Assist in the development and assessment of scientific and technical documents alongside cross-functional portfolio teams.

• Represent Dechra at veterinary conferences and industry gatherings.

• Remain updated on advancements in veterinary medicine, new research, and pertinent therapeutic fields.

• Establish and maintain connections with Key Opinion Leaders and other veterinary specialists.

• Review and analyze veterinary literature and scientific advancements.

• Act as an informed ambassador for Dechra while complying with regulatory and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or an equivalent veterinary degree.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in companion animal practice.

• Active veterinary license in good standing.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Exceptional presentation and public speaking abilities, including the capacity to lead technical discussions and respond to clinical inquiries.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration.

• Self-driven with excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.

• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to operate in both field-based and remote settings.

• Willingness and capacity for extensive travel, including overnight stays of up to 75%.
