Professional Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Design and implement production-ready integrations and distributed data systems for enterprise clients.

• Convert legacy ETL/ELT processes into contemporary, self-sufficient data pipelines.

• Collaborate across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes environments.

• Incorporate AI APIs, including those from OpenAI and Anthropic.

• Utilize AI code generation tools to expedite project delivery and enhance Maia’s autonomous capabilities.

• Guide technical solutions from initiation to deployment within an 8–12 week Accelerator timeframe.

• Take responsibility for delivery outcomes.

• Alternate between intricate technical problem-solving and strategic discussions with customer executives.

• Oversee the technical deployment and implementation of the Maia Foundation platform.

• Promote customer engagement and address complex technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing production-quality software, with strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and API development or similar.

• Practical experience with ETL/ELT tools, obtained as a Data Engineer, DBA, or a related role.

• Solid understanding of data architecture and data structures.

• Capability to evaluate and redesign customer data environments as part of the migration process.

• Willingness to adapt across technical delivery, customer interactions, and initial commercial support.

• History of meeting migration and deployment goals within set timelines.

• Experience working directly with customer stakeholders.

• Residing in-region in Sydney, Australia.
