Professional Services Engineer, 911 Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of comprehensive deployment projects for cloud-based call-handling solutions.

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their requirements and ensure successful implementations.

• Deliver advanced technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer to clients during the deployment phase.

• Partner with engineering teams to address complex technical solutions and troubleshooting challenges.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the process.

• Provide continuous deployment support, including after-hours installations and assistance following implementation.

• Advocate for a customer-focused approach within the team.

• Continuously enhance deployment processes and documentation to boost efficiency and scalability.

• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Maintain effective communication with leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead both onsite and remote installations of Carbyne SaaS products.

• Engage in technical pre-sales, architecture and design discussions, and technical support activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical position related to VoIP (e.g., PBX, Call Center).

• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and the OSI model.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
