Professional Services Engineer, 911 Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, design, and implement comprehensive deployment projects for cloud-based call-handling solutions.

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their requirements and ensure successful implementations.

• Deliver advanced technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer to clients throughout the deployment process.

• Partner with engineering teams on intricate technical solutions and troubleshooting efforts.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Provide continuous deployment support, including after-hours assistance during installations and post-implementation aid.

• Advocate for a customer-centric perspective within the team.

• Continuously enhance deployment processes and documentation for improved efficiency and scalability.

• Coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to guarantee seamless project delivery.

• Maintain effective communication with leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead both onsite and remote installations of Carbyne SaaS products.

• Contribute insights during technical pre-sales, architecture and design sessions, and technical support activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 8+ years in a technical position related to VoIP (e.g., PBX, Call Center).

• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Established experience in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and the OSI model.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
