Professional Services Engineer – 911 Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Plan, design, and implement comprehensive deployment projects for cloud-based call-handling solutions.

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their requirements and guarantee successful implementations.

• Deliver advanced technical training and facilitate knowledge transfer throughout the deployment process.

• Work alongside engineering teams to address complex technical challenges and troubleshooting.

• Act as a trusted advisor for customers.

• Provide continuous deployment support, which includes after-hours installation and post-implementation assistance.

• Advocate for a customer-focused approach within the team.

• Regularly enhance deployment processes and documentation to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams for seamless project execution.

• Maintain effective communication with leadership and stakeholders.

• Contribute to technical pre-sales, architecture and design sessions, and technical support activities.

• Oversee onsite and remote installations of Carbyne SaaS products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a technical capacity related to VoIP, such as PBX or Call Center.

• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Proven track record in planning, executing, and delivering complex projects.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and the OSI model.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Preferred: Experience in the public safety sector, ENP Certification/NG911, Cisco UCS and/or FreeSWITCH, as well as streaming technologies such as SIP, RTSP, RTMP, SIP-to-PSTN gateways, SIP Trunk, Wowza, and WebRTC.
