Professional Land Surveyor – Licensed in Multiple States

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee, strategize, schedule, and execute a variety of survey projects and manage personnel.

• Utilize sound surveying principles to plan, assess, and complete survey projects effectively.

• Review and authorize field measurements for accuracy and compliance.

• Guide and assist in the creation of survey documentation.

• Supervise and direct field surveys to ensure proper scheduling, professional oversight, and quality control.

• Conduct field surveys to collect data for land boundary determinations and topographical mapping.

• Prepare and manage legal descriptions, plats, and maps for recording purposes.

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to guarantee successful project execution.

• Stay current with advancements in land surveying technology and methodologies.

• Maintain and update records and reports related to surveying activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in at least one of the following states: FL, GA, AL, TX, NM, AZ, MS, and LA.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of land surveying is required.

• An A.S. or B.S. Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership and communication capabilities.

• Exceptional time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to contribute to the expansion of the business unit.

• Proficient in using Trimble survey equipment and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Familiarity with GIS and mapping software is advantageous.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.

• Must be capable of using body members to work, move, or transport objects or office materials.

• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.

• Physical demands are consistent with those of sedentary work.
