
Professional Billing Specialist β Follow Up and Denials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.
β’ Prepare and submit professional claims.
β’ Correct routine claim errors and handle rejections.
β’ Manage assigned billing and follow-up queues in Epic.
β’ Utilize foundational knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer regulations.
β’ Achieve productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Candidates must reside and work full-time in AR, KS, MO, OK, or TX before their first day of employment.
β’ Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule; some flexibility may be available.
β’ A High School Diploma or GED is required.
β’ Level 1: A minimum of 1 year of Medical Insurance experience is required.
β’ Level 1: No certification, license, or registration is necessary.
β’ Level 2: A minimum of 3 years of professional billing experience is required.
β’ Level 2: CPB certification is required within 1 year of the hire date.
β’ Foundational knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and payer regulations is essential.
β’ Experience with follow-up and denials is preferred.
β’ Ability to meet productivity, quality, and timeliness standards is required.
