This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all facets of the online inspection and production workflow, including inspections of heavy equipment and trucks, research, photography/video, descriptions, and logistics.
• Assess construction and industrial machinery for online sales and remarketing purposes.
• Prepare equipment, conduct minor repairs, and generate auction listings.
• Engage with customers, assisting with loading and unloading, providing support, and troubleshooting issues.
• Organize and schedule heavy equipment inspections in collaboration with partners and customers.
• Offer support for construction equipment and customer inquiries.
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards for both sellers and buyers, addressing inquiries, disputes, and resolutions.
• Conduct research on a diverse array of assets using the internet and other resources.
• Develop, maintain, implement, and adhere to policies and practices that ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Compose professional, detailed, accurate, and globally-focused asset descriptions for buyers.
• Collaborate with various teams within the organization to enhance satisfaction for both buyers and sellers.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the business to foster positive changes in processes and capabilities.
• Background in heavy equipment and machinery, including construction, agricultural, trucks, or industrial equipment.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical, fleet, rental, service, or related fields.
• Extensive experience in customer engagement, service, and support.
• Proficient mechanical skills and diagnostic capabilities related to equipment.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with various applications and internet usage.
• Some experience in photography and/or video is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing people, partners, and teams.
• Familiarity with internet technologies, such as eBay, is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Capacity to manage projects that involve multiple tasks, resources, and customer interactions.
• Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Ability to regularly climb on and inspect large construction equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including travel to customer locations.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a strong team player.
• Relevant expertise in heavy equipment, construction equipment rental, service and sales/marketing, auction sales, or remarketing is advantageous.
• Self-driven with an aptitude and attitude suited for a startup, entrepreneurial, and team-focused environment.
