Production Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Custom DM Production and Production Estimating in collaboration with Account Service, Creative teams, and vendors.

• Manage designated client accounts along with a group of accounts.

• Ensure profitability, efficiency, quality, and accuracy in all job executions.

• Handle daily production workflow from data/art release through to mail date.

• Serve as the intermediary between internal departments and suppliers.

• Oversee project bidding and budgeting for assigned clients.

• Interpret and draft job orders for data processing, mailing, and print procurement.

• Engage daily with internal teams and suppliers concerning scheduling, quality control, and project oversight.

• Relay project scheduling and status updates to team members.

• Participate in kickoff meetings and recommend cost-effective solutions.

• Provide pricing, estimates, and complete billing tasks for assigned clients.

• Establish goals and objectives, making timely decisions as needed.

• Maintain relationships with vendors and address issues with Production Estimators.

• Identify potential delays and communicate them in a professional manner.

• Train new staff members.

• Develop creative strategies to enhance work processes.

• Integrate financial analysis into strategic choices and enforce operating budgets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.

• 5+ years of direct mail agency experience preferred for senior-level positions.

• 10+ years of direct mail agency experience preferred for senior-level positions.

• Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.

• Proficient in PC usage and familiar with MS Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Basic knowledge of postal regulations pertaining to bulk mail and non-profit criteria.
