This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee production operations at the facility and meet SQCDSM goals related to safety, quality, productivity, volume, cost, sustainability, and workforce morale.
• Execute the production strategy and verify its efficiency.
• Manage the transition of operational teams by incorporating integrated Lean Six Sigma methodologies, the Factory of the Future framework, and AM/PM maintenance models.
• Mentor, coach, and develop teams to foster self-sufficiency.
• Assist in manufacturing operational plans and annual goals.
• Guide line managers and convey plans, objectives, and performance metrics.
• Establish governance structures to oversee operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and manage enhancements in technology, culture, capabilities, and operational systems.
• Ensure adherence to production, governance, regulatory, quality, food safety, GMP, HSE, sustainability, and legal standards.
• Lead and manage the talent, skills, and engagement of the production team.
• Drive production KPIs, such as OEE, yields, and losses, and implement corrective action plans.
• Supervise, lead, and develop a team of team leaders and operators (50 to 200 employees, depending on the site).
• Ensure product conformity with quality standards, customer specifications, and IFS/BRC certifications.
• Implement Lean/IL6S methodologies and spearhead continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and oversee the production budget while optimizing conversion costs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to guarantee alignment between workload and capacity as well as adherence to the production schedule.
• Engage in capital investment projects, line transfers, and new product introductions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and promote a culture of zero accidents.
• Proven operational and production leadership experience within the CPG sector.
• Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong leadership and people management skills in a collaborative team setting.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and team training skills.
• Engineering degree or equivalent Master’s-level qualification (food science/engineering, industrial engineering, or general engineering).
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in production management, preferably within the food industry.
• Proficient in continuous improvement tools and methodologies, including Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma.
• Hands-on leadership style, capable of uniting teams and facilitating change.
• Results-driven, meticulous, and analytical mindset.
• Proficient in English, in an international context.
• Knowledgeable about industrial production and maintenance equipment.
• Possess project management skills.
• Strong financial and commercial understanding.
