This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Supervise the production and operational elements of marketplace strategies
• Oversee the complete production workflow
• Ensure adherence to CMS standards and ACA guidelines
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners to enhance efficiency, production, and overall effectiveness
• Meet specified sales goals throughout the year, focusing on objectives for the Open Enrollment Period
• Boost and sustain participation among Ready-to-Sell agents
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with selling agents, brokers, agency leaders, community partners, clinic management, and FMO partners
• Execute sales training initiatives through both in-person and virtual formats
• Collaborate with the Program Manager on vendor programs and related responsibilities
• Oversee daily lead distributions and ensure prompt follow-up, outreach, and closing actions
• Create and conduct Train the Trainer programs
• Formulate and implement business planning strategies with agents during key enrollment periods
• Work alongside internal teams and stakeholders on events, programs, and initiatives
• Ensure accountability for clinic attendance and agent compliance
• Develop and execute strategies for agent force retention and growth of Agents’ Book of Business
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Lead on tasks, initiatives, and projects
• Assist the Manager and Director with sales and retention strategies
• Promote and support self-generated sales efforts aimed at customer acquisition and retention
• Carry out additional responsibilities and assist with business requirements as assigned
• Associate’s degree in business or a healthcare-related field AND two (2) years of sales or healthcare experience involving the ACA
• Valid State and Life Health Insurance License in WV
• Capability to sit, stand, walk, and operate standard office equipment for prolonged periods
• Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail regarding sales and retention
• Familiarity with ACA Marketplace regulations and compliance standards
• Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the ACA sales process
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and thoroughness, with a commitment to ongoing process improvement
• Quick learner, adaptable to new information, and knowledgeable about the ACA and Medicare sectors
• Travel across West Virginia is required for meetings, training sessions, community outreach, and agency support
