This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Meet and exceed annual sales objectives, particularly during the Open Enrollment Period.
• Enhance and sustain participation of Ready-to-Sell agents throughout the year.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with selling agents, emphasizing production and retention.
• Execute sales training initiatives through both in-person and virtual formats.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager on supplemental vendor programs and associated tasks.
• Oversee daily lead assignments while ensuring timely follow-up, outreach, and closing activities.
• Foster and maintain connections with agents and agency leaders.
• Design and conduct “Train the Trainer” programs.
• Formulate and implement business planning strategies with agents during key enrollment periods.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on events, programs, and initiatives.
• Ensure accountability for clinic attendance and agent compliance.
• Create and execute strategies for the retention of the agent-force and growth of Agents’ Book of Business.
• Partner with the Operations Lead on various tasks, initiatives, and projects.
• Assist the Manager and Director with efforts focused on sales and retention.
• Promote and support self-generated sales activities aimed at customer acquisition and retention.
• Perform additional responsibilities and support business needs as required.
• Associate’s degree in business or a healthcare-related field AND two (2) years of sales or healthcare-related experience with ACA.
• Active State and Life Health Insurance License in WV.
• In-depth knowledge of ACA Marketplace regulations and compliance standards.
• Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of the ACA sales process.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and thoroughness, with a commitment to ongoing process improvement.
• Ability to quickly learn, adapt to new content, and demonstrate knowledge of the ACA and Medicare sectors.
• Travel within West Virginia is necessary for meetings, training sessions, community outreach, and agency support.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and operate standard office equipment for extended durations.
• Five (5) years of experience in ACA sales, ideally with an early-stage ACA plan.
• Two (2) years of proven success in developing strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including brokers, agents, community partners, clinic management, and FMO partners.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, business plans, and agent engagement initiatives.
