This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Gain insights into the publishing sector and explore career paths in production editorial and managing editorial.
• Support in-house editorial, pre-press, and manufacturing processes that transform manuscripts into published books.
• Perform copyediting and proofreading on TI sheets, reader guides, cover copy, and marketing materials.
• Learn the process of verifying changes.
• Assist in communication with freelancers.
• Participate in book scheduling meetings.
• Engage in panels, networking events, and employee speaker series.
• Must be prepared to work full-time by June 2028.
• Capable of committing to 28 hours per week throughout the program.
• Available and dedicated to working from June 7, 2027, to August 12, 2027.
• Must reside in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship program.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Submit a resume along with a cover letter.
• Express interest in production editorial or managing editorial and specify preferred book types or genres.
• No requirement for college enrollment or degree.
• Paid 10-week remote internship.
• Participation in the employee speaker series.
• Access to panels and networking events.
• Compensation of $21 per hour.
