This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assess the quantities of raw materials and packaging required for upcoming production runs, considering current stock, orders in progress, and demand forecasts.
• Carry out production runs and guarantee the timely availability of finished goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and uphold precise stock records.
• Generate, issue, and oversee Purchase Orders for raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to ensure material availability, punctual delivery, and smooth production flow.
• Develop, issue, and manage Blanket Purchase Orders based on sales projections and production planning for the next 6 to 12 months.
• Track BPO utilization and maintain current commitments.
• Work with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory, ongoing material availability, and the prevention of stock shortages.
• Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for production operations.
• Enhance processes and tools to boost operational efficiency and lower costs.
• Monitor invoices and ensure timely financial processing for production-related activities.
• Assist with compliance initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Report directly to the Production Manager.
• At least 2 years of experience in the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing sector.
• Proven experience in creating, issuing, and managing Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials and packaging components.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and coordinating material deliveries to align with production schedules.
• Proficient in creating, maintaining, and monitoring Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs).
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
• Expertise in Google Sheets and Google Workspace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory or ERP tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in purchasing, inventory management, and financial tracking.
• Experience in tracking invoices and facilitating timely financial processing.
• Capability to create, maintain, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Basic knowledge of compliance and regulatory processes in production or manufacturing.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be available to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
• Must be open to using a time-tracking tool during work hours.
