This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Provide your environmental engineering expertise to influence product decisions, methodologies, and data models.
• Establish product capabilities in the realm of environmental and non-financial risks while challenging existing assumptions.
• Create workflows, interfaces, and outputs that simplify complex environmental data for non-technical decision-makers.
• Collaborate directly with clients in compliance, sustainability, risk, and senior management to identify needs and validate perspectives.
• Take ownership of client-facing responsibilities, including addressing inquiries, justifying methodologies, and fulfilling commitments.
• Work alongside product managers, engineers, data scientists, and leadership teams.
• Test product hypotheses and confirm designs both prior to and following implementation.
• Contribute to public R&D output by writing articles, methodology notes, and thought leadership pieces.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes, scientific advancements, and best practices in the environmental and sustainability sectors.
• Operate in short agile cycles that encourage frequent iterations and prompt decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a closely related field, such as environmental science, sustainability engineering, or chemical engineering with an environmental emphasis.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields.
• Proven experience in environmental topics within consulting, industry, regulatory work, research, or product development.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, work with limited resources, and act swiftly without complete information.
• Agile working approach with rapid iterations and prompt feedback loops.
• Strong sense of accountability to clients, ensuring that commitments are met.
• Willingness to write R&D articles and create public-facing technical content.
• Capability to work entirely remotely while independently managing time and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences.
