This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Contribute to revenue enhancement and customer satisfaction through specialized technical sales knowledge.

• Represent the comprehensive range of scientific instruments and solutions offered by Thermo Fisher Scientific.

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their requirements and provide efficient solutions.

• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key accounts.

• Offer technical expertise throughout the sales process.

• Work in tandem with sales, marketing, and technical support teams.

• Execute sales strategies and ensure outstanding customer experiences.

• Conduct technical demonstrations and training sessions.

• Travel 50–75% within the designated territory.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in technical sales within the relevant scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or life sciences sectors.

• Preferred academic backgrounds include Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive technical knowledge of the assigned product range and its applications.

• Strong comprehension of laboratory workflows and customer needs.

• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales goals.

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts.

• Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical skills and strategic planning abilities.

• Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a matrixed environment.

• Proven project management and organizational capabilities.

• Willingness to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory.

• Valid driver's license and capability to lift/move equipment as necessary.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages are advantageous for international roles.

• Strong skills in building relationships and negotiation.

• Ability to assess market trends and the competitive landscape.

• Experience in delivering technical demonstrations and training sessions.
