This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Implement brand strategies and field tactics effectively.
• Oversee sales performance, designated territories, and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and respond to customer needs.
• Optimize both short- and long-term sales outcomes while prioritizing the patient experience.
• Monitor KPIs, financial objectives, marketing goals, and other performance indicators.
• Prepare pre-call plans utilizing SMART goals and perform post-call evaluations.
• Address objections and establish clear calls to action to finalize sales calls.
• Establish trust with customers and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
• Design and implement call plans to enhance customer reach, frequency, access, and sales opportunities.
• Assess customer needs, market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, products, clinical expertise, and sales.
• Communicate market insights with field, brand, and sales teams, as well as the sales manager.
• Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to designated healthcare providers.
• Identify and nurture disease experts and speakers to enhance brand performance.
• Operate in compliance with AbbVie's business conduct guidelines, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in biology, pharmacy, business-related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated successful sales experience along with strong presentation skills.
• High degree of personal initiative and resilience.
• Ability to adapt to evolving business models.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Strong grasp of business principles and proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in hematology and/or oncology is preferred for prioritization.
• Skill to proactively recognize customer styles/behaviors and adjust the sales approach accordingly.
• Ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment.
• Ideally, a proven track record of successful sales performance in hematology.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector, including physician/account-based sales, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
