This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Collaborate with clients within a designated territory to maximize their benefits from Alpine software and enhance operational efficiency.
• Sustain existing customer relationships while fostering new business opportunities through software demonstrations, technical support, and subject matter expertise.
• Work alongside the Sales team on customer priorities, evaluating prospects, acquiring new accounts, and identifying territory growth opportunities.
• Assess plant operations to identify how Alpine software can boost productivity, minimize paperwork, and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Oversee technical implementation projects, which include coordinating installations, managing business rule files, providing training, offering go-live support, and facilitating the transition to the Help Desk team.
• Act as the software expert for the territory, addressing escalated and complex customer inquiries.
• Familiarize customers with new software features, clarify the value of releases, and assist in the adoption of enhancements.
• Cultivate relationships with customer leadership, designers, estimators, production teams, and other essential users.
• Convert customer, territory, and market needs into themes, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product enhancement requests.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Solutions Delivery teams.
• Partner with technical leads and development teams to clarify project scope, priorities, customer impact, and desired outcomes.
• Provide specifications, examples, workflow context, and user perspectives to development teams.
• Serve as a product ambassador both internally and externally by articulating product direction, release value, customer impact, and adoption considerations.
• Assist in product releases by validating features, communicating changes, preparing guidance for the field, and collecting feedback post-release.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred; an MBA or advanced product/business training is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction technology, component manufacturing, truss design, software consulting, software implementation, product management, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Preferred experience with the technical implementation of software and customer training.
• Preferred experience in the truss, building components, construction, or construction software sectors.
• Experience in customer interactions in roles such as service, support, consulting, implementation, sales engineering, or technical advisory is preferred.
• Involvement in Agile software product development is preferred; familiarity with Scrum, SAFe, backlogs, user stories, and release planning is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
• Must be self-motivated, energetic, independent, results-oriented, and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for travel within the territory.
