Product Owner II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate the advancement of digital products.

• Assist in defining, organizing, and prioritizing the product backlog.

• Monitor and manage deliverables established during Agile ceremonies.

• Ensure that the squad’s outputs are well-documented, organized, and evidenced.

• Keep track of the squad’s capacity and budget.

• Collect, detail, analyze, and document functional requirements and business rules.

• Collaborate with business areas to comprehend demands, needs, and opportunities.

• Convert business needs into precise requirements for the development team.

• Draft and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional artifacts.

• Engage in planning sessions, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor delivery development activities in conjunction with the technical team.

• Ensure that requirements remain explicit throughout the development lifecycle.

• Aid in roadmap definition and product evolution planning.

• Assess metrics, outcomes, and the impact of delivered features.

• Assist in feature testing, validation, and acceptance processes.

• Oversee data migration projects.

• Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in processes, products, and working methodologies.

• Maintain communication with stakeholders, business areas, technical teams, and other involved parties.

• Assist in identifying risks, impediments, dependencies, and prioritization requirements.

• Contribute to the organization of product processes, information, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with prior experience in Agile environments.

• Understanding of backlog management, organization, and prioritization.

• Proficient in drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.

• Experience in requirements gathering and analysis.

• Familiarity with business rules and software development processes.

• Knowledge of digital products and product life cycles.

• Experience with data migration projects.

• Proficient with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, and Confluence or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with at least one Artificial Intelligence tool.

• Understanding of performance tracking, delivery planning, and capacity management.

• Technical ability to comprehend solutions, integrations, system flows, and the implications of decisions on development.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong active listening skills with the ability to appreciate different perspectives.

• Professional maturity to manage decisions, priorities, conflicts, and scope changes.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Organized, accountable, and results-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work collaboratively with business areas and technical teams.

• Additional courses, certifications, or knowledge in Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, product management, business analysis, requirements engineering, project management, digital products, data migration, data integration and quality, management tools, Artificial Intelligence, and product metrics are advantageous.

• Certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, PSM, PMI, CBAP, or similar are considered a plus when relevant to the candidate’s professional experience.
