This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Transform the product line strategy into specific team backlogs and validate sprint results to ensure consistent delivery.
• Own and continuously prioritize the team backlog so that development efforts focus on the most valuable tasks aligned with product goals.
• Define sprint objectives, participate in sprint planning, and coordinate with the team to ensure realistic commitments.
• Manage changes in scope and incoming requests during sprints, communicate changes to stakeholders, and adjust sprint plans accordingly.
• Ensure that backlog refinements by the team align with product strategy and priorities, validating the outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to enhance product features based on validated market and customer insights.
• Coordinate the work of business analysts, systems analysts, and other roles during the discovery phase, ensuring clarity and technical feasibility of requirements.
• Assist in providing requirements to the team when objectives and scope are clear.
• Plan releases (at the team level) in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
• Participate in acceptance testing of features and demonstrations to verify quality and completeness.
• Engage in and co-facilitate sprint retrospectives alongside the EM, initiating improvements in team practices.
• Manage the risk identification process and escalation paths.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for internal stakeholders.
• Validate project plans and documentation for stakeholders as needed.
• Establish and maintain collaboration with the web department and other teams for cross-product work.
• Coordinate cross-team epics and ensure alignment on shared functionalities.
• Work with the Estimator tool, obtain approvals, and maintain the estimation process.
• Collaborate with QA to classify issues and prioritize bugs in the Product Backlog based on business impact.
• 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role.
• 2+ years of experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or pharmaceutical marketing (in an IT/tech environment) — processes and systems related to content supply chain (content creation, MLR, CRM, Veeva, AEM, SFDC).
• Proven successful experience in defining and launching products that meet business objectives.
• Experience working with AI/ML-based products, including understanding the lifecycle of models, evaluation metrics, and constraints such as bias and hallucinations.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of estimation techniques (story points, T-shirt sizing).
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
