This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement the technology product strategy in accordance with the sanctioned product vision and roadmap.
• Relay product vision, roadmap progress, sprint status, standards, decisions, risks, dependencies, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
• Take ownership of prioritization, business value, and intended functionality for tasks assigned to the Agile team.
• Create, enhance, prioritize, and manage a visible product backlog.
• Convert roadmap features and business requirements into epics, features, and user stories complete with specifications, acceptance criteria, business rules, and anticipated outcomes.
• Prioritize user stories and maintain engagement throughout the delivery process to address queries, clarify objectives, eliminate business obstacles, and uphold product-vision alignment.
• Lead or engage in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, reviews, retrospectives, demonstrations, and project planning.
• Track sprint progress and product risks; make decisions on scope and priority and suggest adjustments as necessary.
• Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing, covering readiness, tester involvement, issue clarification, acceptance determinations, and solution validation.
• Participate in demonstrations for end-users, collect feedback, assess enhancements, and integrate insights into backlog and roadmap planning.
• Collaborate with development, design, operations, sales, marketing, compliance, and other business units.
• Develop or assist in change management, communication, training, and business-readiness initiatives.
• Optimize product-team value while promoting collaboration, accountability, recognition, and ongoing improvement.
• Experience in the Title Insurance industry is highly preferred.
• A minimum of three years in title, settlement, Agency operations, a related sector, or the settlement software industry is desirable.
• At least two years of previous experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-delivery role with proven success is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile product development throughout discovery, planning, refinement, delivery, testing, release, and continuous-improvement processes.
• Experience in preparing and managing product backlogs, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Capability to comprehend complex business processes and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• SAFe, Scrum Alliance Product Owner, or a similar Agile certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
• Experience with product, backlog, collaboration, or documentation tools is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, competing demands, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Exceptional written, verbal, listening, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to convey technical concepts in business-friendly terms and communicate business needs accurately to technical teams.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive decisions without formal authority.
• Strong relationship-management, teamwork, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Capability to facilitate discussions, resolve ambiguities, and guide groups toward decisions and subsequent actions.
• Availability to work during scheduled or core business hours, Monday through Friday, with reliable attendance.
• A valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required if automobile travel is part of the role.
