Senior Product Manager – Regulatory

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for products and capabilities within Quest Analytics’ regulatory portfolio.

• Recognize opportunities to grow within the health plan regulatory market through customer discovery, market research, user feedback, and exploration of unmet needs.

• Guide new products and capabilities from the discovery phase and business case through to development, launch, adoption, and optimization.

• Create and advocate for business cases supporting new product investments.

• Gain an in-depth understanding of regulator customers, users, workflows, and the evolving landscape of market needs.

• Set and track success metrics related to customer value, product adoption, revenue growth, and satisfaction.

• Simplify complex healthcare, regulatory, customer, and business requirements into clear product and operational specifications.

• Prioritize the product backlog based on strategic importance, customer impact, business potential, and technical feasibility.

• Collaborate with Engineering during the discovery and delivery phases to make informed trade-offs and create scalable, efficient solutions.

• Leverage customer insights, product analytics, market intelligence, and large, intricate datasets to inform product decisions.

• Manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder requirements while keeping projects on track.

• Promote AI-enhanced product development practices.

• Utilize AI/LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and emerging technologies for research, ideation, requirements development, prototyping, validation, backlog refinement, and documentation.

• Identify avenues for automation or acceleration in research, testing, reporting, and product workflows.

• Experiment with AI throughout the product lifecycle while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance standards.

• Share insights and assist the Product organization in enhancing its AI capabilities.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Client Success, Sales, Product Marketing, Analytics, and other stakeholders.

• Foster alignment across teams and influence decisions without direct authority.

• Work with go-to-market teams on positioning, launch strategies, sales enablement, and product adoption.

• Communicate product strategy, decisions, progress, risks, and results to technical teams and executive leadership.

• Mentor and provide support to other Product Managers.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS or equivalent relevant roles; experience in healthcare technology is strongly preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

• A proven history of taking new products or notable capabilities from concept to market, demonstrating clear ownership throughout discovery, development, launch, and optimization.

• Strong expertise in product discovery and modern product delivery methodologies.

• Demonstrable experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and fostering alignment among Product, Engineering, commercial, and customer-facing teams.

• Practical experience utilizing AI/LLM tools to enhance research, product documentation, workflow efficiency, ideation, prototyping, or validation.

• Excellent customer discovery skills with the ability to identify needs that customers may not initially express.

• Experience working with large, complex datasets and employing data to inform product decisions.

• Capability to create compelling business cases and connect product investments to measurable customer and business outcomes.

• Proven ability to influence without direct authority and facilitate the transition from discussion to decision and execution.

• Exceptional communication, storytelling, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the skill to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous challenges.

• A customer-first mentality, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in health plans, payer technology, or healthcare SaaS is preferred.

• Experience developing products for regulators, government agencies, or within highly regulated healthcare settings is preferred.

• Knowledge of network adequacy, provider networks, regulatory compliance, provider data, or healthcare analytics is preferred.

• Experience launching data-intensive or analytics-driven products is preferred.

• Experience using AI to significantly accelerate the product development lifecycle is preferred.
