This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create realistic product marketing scenarios derived from personal work experience.
• Identify core business challenges, anticipated decisions, and possible outcomes.
• Generate scenarios that include incomplete, conflicting, or disorganized product and market data.
• Develop and assess positioning, messaging, differentiation, and value propositions.
• Design and evaluate product launch strategies, readiness, execution, priorities, dependencies, and risks.
• Analyze sales and go-to-market enablement materials for alignment.
• Create and review win/loss research scenarios to assess evidence-based conclusions.
• Examine product adoption, behavioral data, usage patterns, customer engagement, and barriers to adoption.
• Formulate scenarios that consider competitor actions, market shifts, and response strategies.
• Collaborate with simulated tools including email, storage, CRM, project management, social media, web analytics, SEO/AEO, advertising, CMS, product analytics, and customer support systems.
• Utilize Salesforce-like CRM, Amplitude-like product analytics, and Asana/Linear-like project management workflows.
• Draft or review reference answers and evaluation criteria.
• Assess completed scenarios and evaluate diagnostic reasoning, prioritization, trade-offs, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Provide clear written justifications supporting evaluation decisions.
• Practical professional experience in product marketing.
• Proven experience taking ownership of product launches, positioning, and enablement, beyond merely overseeing teams responsible for execution.
• Strong grasp of win/loss analysis, positioning, launch readiness, adoption, and competitive strategies.
• Proficient in using a CRM such as Salesforce.
• Experience analyzing product metrics using platforms like Amplitude.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Linear, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret incomplete or conflicting market, customer, and product data.
• Ability to articulate written reasoning and justify the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of product marketing decisions.
• Prior experience in developing AI training environments, reinforcement-learning settings, or simulated business case studies is highly preferred.
• Certification from Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working autonomously within established evaluation frameworks and project guidelines.
