This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Oversee the single-use product line for biopharma manufacturing applications
• Direct portfolio strategy, pricing, product lifecycle, and growth in revenue and profit margins
• Forge external partnerships for bags and single-use assemblies
• Assume the role of business owner for the single-use bag assembly product line, with P&L accountability
• Achieve or surpass revenue and gross-margin goals while managing all business facets
• Provide insights on competitors, market trends, product positioning, revenue, unit sales, and capacity forecasting
• Determine business priorities and pricing strategies in collaboration with planning teams
• Formulate long-term product strategies and direct financial planning
• Initiate and lead collaborations with clients, suppliers, and industry thought leaders
• Collaborate with sales teams to establish market-entry strategies and execute commercial plans
• Enhance market share and customer satisfaction for single-use products
• Stimulate demand through sales and marketing initiatives
• Engage in executive leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions
• Establish objectives and strategies, taking responsibility for their execution and outcomes
• Propel cross-business-unit and divisional projects within a matrixed organization
• Act as the subject matter expert on single-use products for sales and marketing teams
• Represent Avantor at industry conferences and trade shows
• Articulate product strategy and tactics to the market
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience in product management, sales, and/or marketing within the life sciences sector
• Willingness to travel domestically and globally up to 25%
• Familiarity with single-use technologies used in bioprocessing applications is preferred
• Technical or commercial experience with single-use products and applications is preferred
• Financial (P&L) expertise
• Capability to develop and articulate business cases
• Experience in guiding objective decision-making processes
• Strong analytical skills
• Technical proficiency in bioproduction
• Project management and strategic planning abilities
• Experience in decision-making and adaptability to change
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills at the business level
• Experience in a matrixed organizational setting
