This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.
• Take ownership of the complete product lifecycle for payments and risk, encompassing PSP integrations, PSP flows, conversions, risk features, automated withdrawals, fraud detection systems, and chargeback management.
• Lead the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing payments and risk management, optimizing payment processes, and preventing fraud.
• Collaborate with PSPs to ensure the integration of comprehensive risk management and compliance measures.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for PSP success rates, failure rates, fraud incidents, chargebacks, risk exposure, and withdrawal effectiveness.
• Identify and prioritize areas for improvement and automation in payment processing and risk management.
• Work alongside Compliance and Legal teams to adapt to evolving regulations and standards.
• Assist in the assessment of payment solutions for new markets, features, and product introductions.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and Operations to gain insights into pain points and enhance customer experience while upholding fraud controls.
• Contribute to strategic planning and the development of the roadmap for Payments and Risk.
• Manage direct reports.
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager within the Casino/Gambling industry, focusing on payments and risk management.
• Familiarity with payment methods, acquiring services, eWallets, digital wallets, vouchers, online banking, and offline payment solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of payment providers, payment flows, settlements, and risk management features.
• Solid grasp of PSP risk features, fraud prevention mechanisms, KYC/AML processes, and chargeback management.
• Proven history of delivering successful product features and enhancements in a dynamic environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of APIs, data flows, and payment integrations.
• Ability to navigate compliance and regulatory landscapes within gaming or financial services.
• Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Management experience, as the role includes direct reports.
• Nice to have: familiarity with automated payment systems and fraud detection technologies.
