Product Manager, Nutrition – Maternity Cover

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the food tracker strategy within Samsung Health and oversee its roadmap.

• Cultivate in-depth expertise in the product domain to facilitate prompt and informed product decisions.

• Leverage UX research, analytics, and customer insights to pinpoint valuable user challenges.

• Propel weekly active user growth and develop monetization strategies through iterative testing and development.

• Guide globally dispersed, cross-functional teams through stages such as discovery, product definition, user testing, launch, and iteration.

• Oversee nutrition-related integrations within comprehensive internal services and ensure coherence across Samsung Health’s Nutrition pillar.

• Sustain ongoing initiatives, stakeholder relationships, and current decisions to ensure a smooth transition to the permanent product manager.

• Report directly to the Head of Whisk and collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, and research teams.

• Proven experience in product management, particularly within consumer applications.

• Demonstrated success in launching features that enhance engagement or retention metrics on a large scale.

• Genuine passion for nutrition, health, wellness, or behavior change products.

• Capability to work effectively in cross-organizational and cross-time-zone settings.

• Skill in building trust and alignment in an asynchronous-first work environment.

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to distill complexity into clarity.

• Strong product judgment with the capacity to question features that do not enhance user experience.

• Readiness to quickly adapt for the specified 6-month contract duration.

• Intellectual curiosity regarding AI's influence on product development, with the discernment to override automated recommendations when necessary.

• Independent contractor responsible for personal taxes and without access to paid time off.
