This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for one or more areas within the NextGen Office portfolio.
• Utilize product management principles such as discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and measurable KPIs.
• Drive high-priority projects across ambulatory EHR and practice management workflows, covering clinical documentation, ordering, e-prescribing, scheduling, patient access, and revenue cycle.
• Establish product strategy and roadmap for assigned healthcare ambulatory software products.
• Identify and prioritize product features based on user requirements, market trends, client value, expected outcomes, and business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to guarantee timely and effective product delivery.
• Evaluate market data and user feedback to enhance product innovation and improvements.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from conception through requirements gathering, prioritization, development, launch, and phase-outs.
• Work together with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and promote product adoption.
• Develop and deliver product performance reports and metrics.
• Create business cases and refine product roadmaps and strategies.
• Guide junior product managers and aid in team development and best practices.
• Carry out additional responsibilities that support the overall goals of the position.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, software engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the necessary qualifications.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a healthcare environment, ideally in practice management, product management, or business analysis.
• Demonstrated success in product launches and management.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Experience with ambulatory care software or EHR systems is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare and technology.
• Solid grasp of product management principles and the software development life cycle.
• Awareness of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
