Product Manager – Loyalty and Value Proposition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and implement the Profit Share program.

• Ensure the precision and completeness of Common Share Dividends, Investment Share Dividends, and Patronage payouts.

• Provide strategic suggestions for the advancement of the comprehensive loyalty strategy.

• Address both transactional and relationship loyalty in accordance with the Value Proposition and targeted member segments.

• Organize campaigns directed at members and employees that promote Profit Share and deposit-gathering initiatives.

• Collaborate with teams from Marketing, Communications, Sales Effectiveness, Operations, and other delivery groups.

• Suggest improvements to the current Profit Share and deposit-gathering programs.

• Utilize available data to track, assess, and enhance program outcomes.

• Refine and evaluate the value proposition and its alignment with target member segments in member lifecycle strategies.

• Implement banking product planning, customer journey mapping, and product development processes.

• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive dynamics.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities and enhancements for existing programs.

• Occasionally travel for frontline engagement, team meetings, or campaign support.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, loyalty marketing, CRM, or partnership management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding and practical experience in customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies.

• Proven ability to identify performance gaps and create cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable growth.

• Extensive knowledge of modern analytical tools, methodologies, and presentation formats.

• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.

• Capability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.

• Experience managing campaign portfolios or complex multi-channel initiatives.

• Comprehensive knowledge of competitor credit unions, financial institutions, retail banking products, loyalty, and sponsorship/partnership landscapes in Canada.

• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in interpreting performance trends, competitor activities, and financial implications.

• Strong organizational and project management skills; able to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Ability to influence across departments and align stakeholders with shared growth goals.

• Proven aptitude for navigating ambiguity and complexity using sound judgment, data, and cross-functional collaboration.

• The selected candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check, reference check, and credit check.
