This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of a specific product area from customer discovery through to delivery, launch, and adoption.
• Engage regularly with platform engineers, DevOps teams, infrastructure leaders, potential clients, and existing customers.
• Analyze production workflows related to governance, coordination, visibility, reliability, and user adoption.
• Utilize customer interviews, product usage data, support cases, commercial feedback, and market research to pinpoint problems worth addressing.
• Establish product requirements, success criteria, and recommendations using the 5 Questions framework, PR/FAQs, specifications, and decision logs.
• Prioritize tasks based on customer value, strategic alignment, effort, risk, and potential learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with Design to explore, prototype, validate, and enhance solutions.
• Work alongside the Engineering Manager to discuss scope and trade-offs while Engineering leads the architecture and technical implementation.
• Partner with the Director of New Product Development on product strategy, significant investment choices, and market introduction.
• Ensure launch readiness in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams.
• Evaluate adoption and customer feedback post-release to determine whether to enhance, expand, or discontinue the project.
• Develop a working knowledge of Spacelift, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, policy, cloud infrastructure, and the execution engine.
• Experience in product management or related fields such as platform engineering, DevOps, solutions engineering, technical support, product analysis, technical product ownership, or a comparable role.
• Practical production experience with Kubernetes or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes tools such as Argo CD, Flux, Helm, operators, cluster management, or application delivery, or Ansible tools like AWX/Automation Controller, inventories, job templates, execution environments, or automation workflows.
• Capacity to explain the functionality of these tools and identify operational or organizational challenges faced by teams.
• Working knowledge of Terraform or OpenTofu and fundamental IaC workflows, including Git-based changes, planning and application, state management, policy, and drift detection.
• Proven experience in identifying user issues, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data, and translating findings into clear product decisions.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to collaborate directly with engineers and technical customers.
• Good judgment, curiosity, and a readiness to alter direction based on supporting evidence.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (B2 or higher).
• Located in Europe.
• Nice to have: experience with both Kubernetes and Ansible.
• Nice to have: familiarity with cloud infrastructure, OPA/Rego, CI/CD, RBAC, audit systems, or internal developer platforms.
• Nice to have: experience in B2B SaaS or developer tools.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Working Backwards, 5 Questions, or other evidence-driven product methodologies.
