Product Manager – Healthcare Facility Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead the Facilities Solutions segment within the Healthcare RTLS portfolio.

• Own the roadmap and execution of operational solutions affecting asset management, wayfinding, hand hygiene, and environmental monitoring.

• Analyze business needs and establish product use cases and specifications.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to foster product innovation, secure buy-in, and set expectations.

• Communicate solution designs and requirements to both product development and business teams.

• Support product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions, ongoing improvements, and end-of-life processes.

• Manage product specifications throughout the product lifecycle.

• Oversee hardware and software products within the product and solutions roadmaps.

• Partner with hardware development, software product management, software development, and quality assurance teams to implement and deliver solutions.

• Conduct project gate meetings to review progress and obtain project approval.

• Facilitate core team meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with internal team members.

• Work with business partners to formulate product strategy and pricing while driving project initiatives.

• Assist with daily product inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.

• Document and communicate product modifications and participate in internal change management activities.

• Drive product strategy, cross-functional execution, measurable customer value, innovation, and competitive differentiation.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Candidates with equivalent education supplemented by relevant job experience may also be eligible.

• At least 5+ years of experience in product management roles within the technology sector, particularly with healthcare solutions.

• Experience with SaaS solutions is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to successfully launch products and services on a global scale.

• Experience managing a portfolio that includes both hardware and software components.

• Expertise in RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems).

• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and the ability to achieve consensus.

• Driven by data and analysis.

• Capable of managing change, ambiguity, debate, conflict, and informed risk-taking.

• Adherence to relevant HID Global policies and procedures concerning Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.

• Travel and fieldwork, including international travel, may be necessary.

• Must possess, or be capable of acquiring, a valid passport.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment.

• Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to live and work in Canada.

• International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of Canada will not be considered.
