This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +7 more states.
• Take ownership of PAR's Hardware portfolio across its entire product lifecycle, from inception to end-of-life.
• Create business cases and proposals for new hardware products, accessories, and opportunities for portfolio expansion.
• Track metrics related to revenue, margin, adoption, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to enhance pricing, profitability, inventory management, and lifecycle planning.
• Contribute to both short-term and long-term product roadmaps.
• Assess market trends, emerging technologies, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
• Convert customer and business requirements into prioritized product specifications.
• Coordinate with stakeholders in Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
• Facilitate alignment and execution during product development and launch phases.
• Lead readiness initiatives for product launches, updates, and lifecycle transitions.
• Collaborate with software product teams to enhance hardware/software integration.
• Gather customer feedback, field intelligence, and market insights.
• Work with sales teams on strategic customer initiatives and hardware recommendations.
• Assist in customer advisory sessions, product demonstrations, and executive briefings.
• Aid in developing product positioning, messaging, sales enablement materials, and launch content.
• Monitor product KPIs, launch milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Promote continuous improvement focusing on product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support engagements with suppliers, ODMs, and partners.
• Maintain product documentation, competitive analyses, and portfolio reporting.
• 3–7 years of experience in Product Management within hardware, technology, retail technology, hospitality technology, or similar fields.
• Proven experience managing products throughout the complete product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in developing business cases and product specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel 5–15% of the time.
• Preferred: experience with POS systems, restaurant technology, kiosks, mobility solutions, payment hardware, or enterprise hardware products.
• Preferred: background in IoT products.
• Preferred: understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, hardware development lifecycles, and quality processes.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with ODM/OEM partners.
• Preferred: knowledge of financial modeling, pricing strategies, and product P&L management.
• An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
