Product Manager – Growth, Technical/Ex-Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Expand Kovo's primary credit-building offering

• Manage onboarding, lifecycle, conversion, and retention results

• Establish the guiding vision, input metrics, roadmap, and quarterly strategy

• Prioritize initiatives based on their quantified effect on conversion, retention, and lifetime value

• Examine onboarding, payment, and lifecycle processes through session reviews, data queries, and support dialogues

• Evaluate opportunities prior to development

• Create prototypes in sandbox environments and deploy production pull requests

• Implement event tracking and address any event/property discrepancies

• Conduct comprehensive experiments, including hypothesis formulation, sizing, launch, and analysis

• Manage lifecycle workflows, templates, triggers, and monitoring systems

• Develop agentic workflows to propose, initiate, and report on experiments

• Craft succinct updates focused on outcomes

• Report directly to one of the founders

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years, or equivalent experience, in product engineering, growth engineering, or a product role where you deployed your own code

• Recently shipped production code in TypeScript, React, or a comparable language; AI-assisted contributions count

• Proven track record of measurable successes in activation, conversion, retention, or reactivation within a consumer product

• Proficient with event-driven systems, product analytics, experiment design, and lifecycle platforms

• Intermediate SQL skills or higher

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote position with full ownership and minimal oversight

• Experience utilizing agents extensively and maintaining high standards for their output

• Capable of writing clear and concise updates

• Eligible to work in the United States

• Background in consumer fintech is advantageous
