This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the development, launch, worldwide commercialization, and lifecycle management of NGS-based diagnostic and companion diagnostic products.
• Establish product strategy and coordinate with cross-functional and external stakeholders regarding molecular diagnostic solutions.
• Perform market analysis, competitive evaluations, and customer research within the oncology diagnostics and NGS technologies sectors.
• Define and uphold product requirements, target product profiles, application roadmaps, intended use, product claims, naming conventions, and value propositions.
• Prioritize features and navigate trade-offs among technical, clinical, regulatory, operational, and commercial factors.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and external regulatory partners on CDx classification strategy, submission planning, vendor/contract reviews, and consultation strategies.
• Work alongside pharmaceutical collaborators and Alliance Management teams on product plans, clinical evidence strategies, regulatory pathways, and commercialization goals.
• Direct market-by-market and global commercialization strategies and execution, including launch plans, readiness milestones, and lifecycle management.
• Assist in pricing strategy, reimbursement rate analysis, and financial/market-sizing modeling.
• Represent Product Management in project teams, governance forums, and partner committees.
• Monitor commercialization performance through KPIs and suggest corrective or growth actions.
• Lead customer-facing product discussions, scientific presentations, advisory boards, conferences, payer discussions, and advocacy engagement.
• Identify, assess, and manage contract laboratories, Centers of Excellence, reference laboratories, CROs, and other strategic testing partners.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Scientific Affairs to craft positioning, messaging, sales enablement tools, and training materials.
• A Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, life sciences, or a related discipline is required.
• Over 5 years of product management or commercialization experience in molecular diagnostics, genomics, biotechnology, or the pharmaceutical sector, specifically with NGS or molecular diagnostic applications.
• At least 3 years of direct experience with companion diagnostics, precision medicine applications, and pharmaceutical partnership programs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting global product launches or regulatory submissions in multiple jurisdictions, including the FDA and at least one ex-US authority such as PMDA or EMA, within regulated diagnostic environments.
• At least 3 years of experience working with laboratory networks, CROs, Centers of Excellence, or decentralized testing models, including oversight and governance of subcontractors.
• Strong comprehension of NGS technologies and workflows, including library preparation, targeted sequencing, liquid biopsy, variant detection, and bioinformatics analysis.
• Familiarity with major sequencing platforms, including Illumina, Thermo Fisher, and Element Biosciences.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
• A strategic, analytical, and customer-oriented mindset with the capability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Practical knowledge of market access, reimbursement, pricing/transfer-pricing negotiation, demand forecasting, and financial or market-sizing analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Illumina sequencing platforms, such as NextSeqDx and MiSeqDx.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 25% as necessary.
