This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the commercial and operational success of the OEM cable assembly sector within the Custom Engineered Solutions division.
• Convert business data into insights that enable better decision-making and enhanced financial outcomes.
• Manage the strategy, positioning, and lifecycle of designated OEM cable and harness assembly product lines.
• Identify gaps in the portfolio, potential growth areas, opportunities for cost reduction, and product priorities.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer applications, requirements, volumes, sourcing strategies, and competitive options.
• Assist Sales and customer interactions with product strategies, positioning, and technical/commercial expertise.
• Drive new product launches and lifecycle decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate on manufacturability, capacity, quality, timing, tooling, materials, and cost considerations.
• Gather, cleanse, and analyze data related to sales, margins, pricing, forecasts, backlog, and inventory.
• Formulate recommendations to enhance profitability, pricing strategies, inventory performance, and customer service.
• Track commodity markets, including copper, and assist with pricing adjustments and metals escalation initiatives.
• Review customer pricing and maintain price lists that reflect approved agreements, cost inputs, and margin objectives.
• Create dashboards and analytical tools utilizing Oracle, S2K, Excel, and business intelligence platforms.
• Work in partnership with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Strategic Account Managers.
• Present business performance, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• A minimum of three years of experience in product management, commercial analytics, demand planning, supply chain, pricing, or a comparable analytical role within manufacturing or industrial distribution.
• Strong analytical abilities in evaluating sales, margins, inventory, forecasting, pricing, and operational performance.
• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
• Familiarity with ERP and business intelligence systems.
• Exceptional communication and project management capabilities.
• Ability to convert complex business data into actionable insights.
• Capacity to work remotely within the Eastern or Central time zones.
• Willingness to travel approximately quarterly, primarily to GCG facilities.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with custom cable assemblies, wire and cable products, or other engineered electrical products is advantageous.
• Knowledge of commodity pricing, copper escalation programs, and various ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience in developing dashboards and reporting tools is a plus.
