Product Manager – Clearing and Settlement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design and implementation of the company's TradFi clearing and settlement platform.

• Oversee the product development roadmap and execution for the TradFi clearing and settlement platform, emphasizing backend functionalities.

• Direct the design of full lifecycle management processes, including trade reconciliation, non-trade reconciliation, anomaly detection, error handling, and settlement.

• Establish and track key system and business metrics, such as false positive rates, processing times, and reliability, while driving ongoing optimization through data analysis and experimentation.

• Collaborate with engineering, product management, spot operations, futures operations, treasury, and finance teams to architect systems for settlement, reconciliation, and fund flow management.

• Work alongside external stakeholders to integrate systems and resolve issues.

• Identify gaps in systems and processes, leading end-to-end execution in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of product management experience, ideally in clearing & settlement, fintech, or platform/infrastructure products.

• A background in Accountancy and/or Finance is a plus.

• Profound knowledge of settlement, reconciliation, ledger systems, or fund flow design.

• Experience with backend system design and APIs.

• Comfortable collaborating closely with engineering teams on system architecture.

• A data-driven and analytical mindset, with a track record of using metrics to inform product decisions.

• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a global or multi-regional context.

• Demonstrated ownership and structured thinking, with the capacity to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively coordinate with external partners and stakeholders.
