Product Manager – Card and Account Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate the execution of product concepts as a Product Manager or workstream/project leader, concentrating on account and card offerings.

• Oversee card and account products through all stages of the product lifecycle—from conception and launch to continuous enhancement.

• Assess technical ideas for new payment solutions and collaborate with business and development teams for implementation.

• Collaborate closely with internal partners, savings banks, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination during the product development journey.

• Keep an eye on market trends and technological advancements in payments to identify initiatives for new or improved products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in banking, business informatics, business administration, or a similar qualification within the financial services industry.

• Proven experience in product management and/or leading innovative product projects.

• Background in the savings bank or banking industry.

• Familiarity with agile, hybrid, or traditional project management methodologies.

• Ideally, an understanding of card-based payment systems or a strong desire to gain in-depth knowledge in this field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with tools such as Confluence, Miro, or similar software applications.

• Experience engaging with committees and navigating their decision-making processes is a plus.
