This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the outward-facing product narrative, encompassing positioning, messaging frameworks, and demo strategies for ELN, LIMS, and CMC workflows.
• Lead and deliver solution presentations to potential customers, partners, and at industry events.
• Customize presentations for various audiences, from bench scientists to C-suite executives.
• Act as a bridge between development, marketing, and sales to ensure that go-to-market activities reflect product realities and customer insights.
• Cultivate profound CMC domain expertise and engage with scientific and regulatory stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product and executive leadership to synchronize external messaging with product direction and company strategy.
• Advocate for the customer perspective internally by synthesizing feedback from demos, customer interactions, and market indicators.
• Work alongside sales on RFP responses, proof-of-concept engagements, and strategic account support.
• Spearhead product marketing initiatives that include content creation, conference presentations, webinars, and customer advisory board preparation.
• Provide the executive leadership team and CEO with commercially insightful perspectives on market positioning and customer feedback.
• Report directly to the VP of Product.
• Demonstrated experience in a product management or product marketing role within a life sciences software company, showcasing a clear external and customer-facing focus.
• In-depth knowledge of ELN and LIMS products.
• Strong understanding of CMC processes.
• Robust product marketing mindset with the capability to translate complex functionalities into compelling value propositions and customer narratives.
• Proven experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including executive leaders.
• History of delivering high-quality product demonstrations.
• Experience functioning in scale-up and/or corporate environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and competency in aligning product activities with business outcomes.
• Customer-centric mindset with an understanding of the work of scientists and laboratory professionals.
• Ability to navigate competing priorities across product, sales, and marketing workstreams.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Collaborative and inclusive working style across different geographies and functions.
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.
• High integrity and accountability.
• Strong attention to detail in customer-facing materials and communications.
• Background in biologics, CDMOs, or pharmaceutical development organizations is preferred.
• Experience in a dual product management/product marketing role is preferred.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP environments is preferred.
• Previous experience in a Series B/C-stage software business is preferred.
• Exposure to scientific data management platforms, informatics, or related software categories is preferred.
• Experience presenting at industry conferences, user groups, or customer advisory boards is preferred.
