This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.
• Report directly to the Product Lead of Privacy.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering manager, engineering lead, engineers within your pod, product designer, and leaders across various areas including risk, payment and dispute operations, compliance, business operations, and support.
• Take ownership of the roadmap and strategy for a fundamental product surface.
• Manage the surface and its year-long roadmap; ensure progress while delving deep into critical areas.
• Identify the right challenges and frame them into testable hypotheses with clear outcomes; establish product vision and strategy.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for the surface and navigate cross-area trade-offs; justify decisions amidst ambiguity during leadership reviews.
• Utilize data and a comprehensive understanding of customer and business needs to drive decisions.
• Own metrics directly connected to financial and business outcomes; identify and prioritize the essential levers necessary to achieve targets.
• Analyze contribution margin and unit economics; maintain a customer model at the segment level and conduct research on high-impact ambiguous issues.
• Create dashboards and success metrics that are embraced by other teams; leverage data to gain cross-functional support.
• Lead an engineering squad as its product manager and influence cross-functional teams to realign priorities towards the roadmap.
• Transform recurring decisions into reusable playbooks; advocate for configurable systems and AI/tooling methodologies.
• Communicate effectively from detailed execution to strategic context; mentor other PMs and elevate the team's skill level.
• Full ownership of a product area (or multiple interconnected areas) from start to finish and the ability to define its strategy—not merely execute a pre-defined roadmap.
• Exhibit strong judgment in ambiguous situations: identify the right issues, make defensible decisions, and recognize when to step back.
• Proficient in unit economics and understanding how product decisions influence the profit and loss statement.
• Capability to discern significant levers in performance data and articulate them clearly for non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable with AI-assisted tools and actively utilizing them to enhance both personal and team output.
• Quick to adapt to unfamiliar domains and achieve substantial depth of understanding swiftly.
• Experience in consumer or D2C products; consumer fintech or payments experience is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
• Ability to work autonomously, possess strong communication skills, maintain a strict focus on scope without compromising quality, and exhibit humility.
• Must reside in the United States, Canada (Ontario or British Columbia), Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic.
