This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Articulate and convey the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals.
• Partner with business units and technical stakeholders to collect, document, and prioritize both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the complete delivery of product initiatives, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within scope, and budget.
• Foster relationships with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to align priorities and set expectations.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, which includes user stories, feature definitions, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with product stability, security, and delivery timelines.
• Establish and monitor KPIs that measure product adoption, reliability, and business impact.
• Drive product improvements based on user feedback, analytics, and emerging technology trends.
• Ensure thorough documentation of products, processes, and features for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Guarantee compliance of the platform with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Lead a small team of product managers.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; alternatively, this education requirement may be substituted with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management or IT project management.
• Experience with API platforms or integration technologies.
• Background in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong comprehension of APIs, microservices architecture, and API management tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven history of delivering complex IT projects or products within an Agile framework.
• Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Familiarity with OAuth and JWT security, authentication, and authorization standards is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, QA, security, and business stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
• Experience in implementing complex API solutions for Federal health clients.
• Experience in delivering high-availability systems.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, client management, analytical thinking, research, problem-solving, organization, and adaptability.
