This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Define and uphold the product strategy in alignment with the organization's objectives.
• Develop, manage, and communicate product roadmaps along with customer-facing materials.
• Align the needs of customers, market trends, and technical capabilities.
• Transform strategy into commercially viable product backlogs and requirements.
• Optimize revenue opportunities through product modularity and upselling options.
• Formulate marketing strategies in collaboration with the Public Safety marketing team.
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Prioritize features based on their value, risk, and potential opportunities.
• Monitor delivery progress and established milestones.
• Assist in product launches and releases.
• Oversee the product lifecycle and communicate updates to the company and customers.
• Investigate competitors, products, and market trends.
• Lead pre-sales initiatives and engage with customers to comprehend their needs and support sales opportunities.
• Collect and analyze feedback, usage data, and market trends.
• Facilitate user groups, customer workshops, masterclasses, and early sales engagement.
• Identify product enhancements and opportunities for revenue growth.
• Integrate emerging technologies, including AI where applicable.
• Develop business cases and present proposals to governance forums.
• Foster relationships across NEC Software Solutions to support cohesive product offerings.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Development, Sales/Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.
• Communicate updates, priorities, and performance metrics related to the product.
• Assist sales teams with product knowledge and value propositions.
• Monitor product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contribute to monthly reports on roadmap progress, customer engagement, product health, and risks.
• Maintain product documentation and marketing materials.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a business or technical field.
• Demonstrated experience in Product Management within technology sectors.
• Preferred: Experience in the Public Safety sector with a proven ability to deliver technical solutions.
• Capability to engage customers, technical experts, partners, and colleagues in advancing product strategy and execution.
• Strong product insight to guide direction and prioritization.
• Commercial awareness, including precise return on investment calculations.
• Exceptional research abilities covering competitors, markets, customers, and requirements.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Applicants must have resided in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more.
• Must have the existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Current SC-level national security vetting or higher, NPPV Level 3, or the ability to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance is required.
• Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks; a DBS check may also be necessary depending on the role.
