This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Drive the product strategy and development for the DocDefender AI-enhanced automated document redaction platform.
β’ Report directly to the Head of Product Management within the NEC Evidence and Insights product pillar.
β’ Define, create, and deliver high-quality software products that align with customer demands and business value.
β’ Establish, maintain, and communicate the product strategy and roadmap effectively.
β’ Create product backlogs, requirements, and commercially viable modular product offerings.
β’ Collaborate with the Public Safety marketing team to develop marketing strategies.
β’ Work closely with engineering teams to deliver software solutions.
β’ Prioritize features and enhancements based on value, risk, and opportunity.
β’ Monitor delivery progress and assist in product launches and releases.
β’ Manage the product lifecycle and effectively communicate it to the company and customers.
β’ Keep track of technology developments, competitor activities, products, and market trends.
β’ Lead pre-sales initiatives and engage with customers to comprehend their needs, challenges, and behaviors.
β’ Collect and analyze feedback, usage data, and market trends.
β’ Support user groups, customer workshops/masterclasses, and early sales opportunities.
β’ Identify product enhancements and opportunities for revenue growth.
β’ Investigate emerging technologies, including AI when applicable.
β’ Develop business cases utilizing methodologies such as Lean Canvas and present proposals to the Product Boards.
β’ Build strong relationships across NEC Software Solutions and collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
β’ Communicate product updates, priorities, and performance while supporting sales with product expertise.
β’ Monitor product KPIs and contribute to monthly reporting on roadmap progress, customer engagement, product health, and risks.
β’ Maintain comprehensive product documentation and collateral.
β’ Travel to NEC offices in Chippenham, London, and Hemel Hempstead, as well as customer sites when necessary.
β’ A degree or equivalent qualification in a business or technical field.
β’ Demonstrated experience in Product Management within technology sectors.
β’ Preferred: experience in the Public Safety sector with a proven ability to deliver technical solutions.
β’ Capability to engage and captivate audiences including customers, technical personnel, partners, and colleagues in advancing the product strategy and delivery.
β’ Exceptional product insight.
β’ Commercially astute, with the ability to perform accurate return on investment assessments.
β’ Strong research skills encompassing competitors, markets, customers, and requirements.
β’ Ability to make difficult decisions that serve the best interests of the product, market, customer, and company.
β’ Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least 5 consecutive years due to security clearance requirements.
β’ Candidates must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
β’ Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks are required.
β’ Depending on the position, a DBS check may be necessary.
β’ Must currently possess SC-level national security vetting or higher, NPPV Level 3, or be able to obtain Enhanced Security Clearance.
β’ Baseline Personnel Security Standard is required.
