Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Join the agile development team as the advocate for customer interests.

• Facilitate customer focus groups and adjust the roadmap based on their insights.

• Partner with Product Managers to develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

• Define and guide the regulatory solutions roadmap for ESG reporting, regulatory filing disclosures, and financial filing packages, including Solvency II.

• Ensure compliance with evolving mandates and customer filing requirements.

• Collaborate across the EPM Suite to integrate data collection and storage with regulatory disclosures and filings.

• Utilize XBRL expertise for filing requirements, taxonomy mapping, and validation rules.

• Create, review, and enhance epics, features, stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Manage and prioritize product backlogs across various products.

• Organize feature requests and prioritize enhancements effectively.

• Oversee release and sprint planning, setting release and sprint goals.

• Identify and mitigate risks and issues impacting release and sprint objectives.

• Ensure that acceptance criteria are satisfied and conduct sprint reviews from a business/customer standpoint.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to produce documentation for development, launch, support, services, sales, and marketing initiatives.

• Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Act as a subject matter expert for sales and support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• 5+ years of demonstrated success in product ownership or management roles.

• 5+ years of experience with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean Agile, and associated tools.

• 5+ years of experience negotiating backlogs with engineers and senior leadership.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven capability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

• Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and make critical decisions.

• Understanding of XBRL and its application in regulatory financial filings, including ESEF, iXBRL, SEC/EDGAR, taxonomy mapping, tagging, and validation.

• Domain expertise in financial regulatory compliance frameworks such as Solvency II, CSRD/ESG reporting, IFRS, or similar regulatory disclosure and filing requirements.

• Preferred: Certifications in Agile, Pragmatic Marketing, Project Management, or as a Scrum Product Owner.

• Preferred: Experience collaborating with UX teams to design effective solutions.

• Preferred: Experience with EPM (Consolidation, Planning, & Reporting) solutions, along with an understanding of regulatory disclosure and filing within the broader EPM context.
